Honestly, I’m not really a Doug guy. Like he buys this car, its this whole big production, and then he puts 100 miles a month on the thing. Who the shit cares? Buy something cool and daily drive it for a year, then maybe I’ll care.

While the new (and last) Viper is now sorted out if you believe automotive writers and testers, this thing has to be a chore to drive and difficult to live with. Not sure where they got the frame from, or how it’s sprung, but I’m guessing it’s barbaric to live with day-to-day. That’s my guess, and it’s only that .... He’s probably tired of seeing it in his drive.

That was what he used to do, kind of... He’s been buying and selling cars with much more frequency. I think he owned his s-Cargo for about 37 minutes, and his hummer for 87 for partial weekends.

The Hummer was a real shame, because he did stupid fun stuff with it. Running over the PT Cruiser, racing it...he could have done more if he kept it longer.
It seems like as his star got bigger he kinda distilled his act to make it extra Dougish. He seems like a genuinely nice guy, I don’t dislike him at all, but I’m not as into him as I used to be...same thing that happened to me with Bill Simmons when he got huge and also totally stopped writing about anything but basketball.
