Last year I posted pics and talked about what type of city Akron is and the old money neighborhood where the show is held. Once again it didn’t let me down. The same house where the Hertz Mustang sat last year had two Ferrari on the lawn. Surprised? Not really, this show and the area surrounding it always delivers when it comes to a unique experience year after year. Enjoy a picture dump of some nice cars. I feel lucky we didn’t get rained out.
I want one of these houses some day in this area. Would need to hit the lottery.
Ultra rare Healey Silverstone above was back again. Nice owner says all but 4 have now been accounted for.

About 400 cars this year. Enough cars to add about 7000 steps on the Fitbit from walking all the field. I got to have a 1/2 lb hamburger and a great IPA to accompany my mild sunburn from the partial cloud cover that threatened rain all afternoon. Most pictures taken on a Canon T6i with Canon 18-55mm zoom or Youngnuo 50mm 1.8. A few were from my Pentax Q7 5-15mm zoom that had a switch flipped in the camera case to a bad setting and had to be color corrected a lot to even get them anywhere near natural looking.

Wow - great photos (and that’s a lot of work). Ferrari (white) is an F12, unless I missed the mark.

Pretty certain you are on the money with the F12. I wanted to talk more to one of the home owners who was there with about 6 friends and their cars. It seems they let people they know park their exotic or sports cars on the lawn while attending the show each year. This year because of the higher priced metal they had one person remain behind to protect them.

We took the shuttle from Todaro’s and arrived a little after 10. We were out by 1 PM.
That Nissan Figaro has only been in the country for a couple of months, according to the owner.
I think my favorites were the Diamond T car hauler (the pinstriping was gorgeous), the Kubelwagen (riding on Kumho tires) the and the ‘57 Turnpike Cruiser. I’ve seen four or five of those, and every time I pick up on some new detail I hadn’t noticed before.
I was a little surprised to see an actual LS6 ‘70 Chevelle. Then again, I didn’t look the VIN up either...but being at this particular show, I’d bet it was real.

I talked to the guy with the Figaro too. The fit, finish and trim on that car is pretty nice. I was impressed. I was there from about 11:00 until 3. Surprised we didn’t run into each other. The Kubelwagen has been there other years. I couldn’t get a clean photo, too many people around it. Ditto on the Chevelle, likely the real thing.
