I managed to drill out the broken bolt in the miata today and retap the hole before I decided to give up due to heat - and damn is it hot. I know other parts of the country (hell, even other parts of the Bay Area) are much hotter, but this is pretty high for here. It’s not the kind of place where we have air conditioning. Looks like there’s one more blast of heat coming Thursday before returning to the originally scheduled program of low-mid 70s.

Weird to see the “feels like” temp not being 10 degrees more than the regular air temp.
Like Pat said, 95 with a 105 feels like but with all this cement, the secondary humidity makes it feel more like 108 here near downtown Houston. My Volvo was showing 118°F after an hour in the parking lot.
57 as a low is heaven! Ours is 77

It will be over thirty degrees hotter than that at my house on Tuesday and our low will be 90. Ninety is Spring weather. I don’t even turn my AC on until it hits 100.

Bay area geography blows my mind.
It’s 89 in Richmond, 101 in Martinez, 106 in Petaluma. There are days in the summer where it’s 62 in San Francisco, 72 in Richmond,95 in Martinez, and 115 in Petaluma.
