Mine looked like that in April. It will take a little time to sort it completely, but a good start is to hyperchlorinate it and see how much crap that kills. I used hth Super shock in mine. Whatever normal shock dose is for the volume of your water, use twice that. If it kills algae a lot of crap will float to the top. The flow from the pump will probably slow to a crawl in short order. Keep and eye on it and clean the filter when the flow gets low, and the repeat the process until it starts to clear up. You should get reasonably clear quickly, but chasing down the source of the green and completely killing it off to keep from from creeping back can take a while. Good luck!

Yea I think they just hadn’t opened it in a year. I just moved in last Friday and the previous owner wouldn’t do shit for me

Yeah I saw that saga. PO sounds like a real toolshed. No surprise they left the pool a mess. It will be some work but once you get it cleared up it’s pretty easy to keep it clear with just a little regular maintenance.
