they are kinda cool, and the X-Type is the best Jag ever made (Built Ford Tough), but I’m still afraid of the transverse V6 and Lucas electronics.

I’d totally buy a manual wagon if I could fine one! And yes, they did sell those in the US! Not many, but more than zero

Granted, I think a transverse V8 in an S80 isn’t a terrifying idea, so what do I know.

yeah, but at least the Jag is kinda cool with the hood ornament (and available wagon and manual transmission), so it’s easier to overlook that shit

But the transverse V is ok if the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets were recently replaced, and iridium spark plugs were used (so you won’t have to pull the intake for a long long time)

Nope, not me, not my personal view. I love the X-Type. best Jag ever. Too bad the one you pictured doesn’t have the hood ornament :p

But still, the ad is funny for the haters out there :o)
