The problem with that mentality is your boss, and other bosses like him will continue screwing people over because they can get away with it.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t understand. Even here in CA which is a very pro workers state, it’s still hard to recoup losses, and it’s way too easy for bosses to retaliate, and almost impossible for the employee to fight back. You can very easily be blackballed by an employer and the state can’t do shit about it, because employers usually stick together. It’s a fucked up situation, and I get why a lot of people don’t fight. I just hate seeing employers get away with fucking people over.
