This thing is so cool . I can’t be the only one here with a vintage speedster fetish, right? If I had the garage space and a little more pocket change I would seriously bid on this baby. Definitely the cleanest custom speedster I’ve seen in a very long time, maybe ever.

sorry, that ones not mine......i been having the same speedster daydreams. i have a pair of t bodys supposed to show up one day.( they are bought and paid for) just have to wait for them to show up here soon. they are in unknown to me completeness. one is a truck, the other is a coupe. the truck has a tree growing where the engine should be, from what i understand...... both supposed to be ‘27....... and i have all manner of different speedster ideas on the brain...... rotary 4 speed, big block, 4wd, twin engine........

so far there is a growing pile that will be the car. it is looking to be a small block, manual 4 speed, 4wd, on an original pair of T rails.trying to build it to be quicker than a new demon ........

my advice, and its just dumb advice........ is to start hitting up swap meets, and start rounding up old t parts that you can find, that you KNOW that you would need to be using. stuff like the frame rails axles springs, diff, and slowly put one together. you shouldnt end up more than about $2k into one, if you can do some of your own stunts.....

so long as you dont get yourself in a rush the parts are still around to put together a speedster fairly easy.....

It’s so 70s, in the best way though. I’d take this over a T-bucket hot rod any day.

Lately I’ve discovered and had an obsession with American Lafrance speedsters. Massive speedsters built from old fire trucks. I really like the dual chain drive set-up.

Coincidently, came across this video of it being driven on youtube:

Yep, the seller created this video after footage of it starting and driving was requested on BaT. Seems to run really well. Love it even more now that I’ve heard it. I just hope whoever buys it drives it.
