The driver’s side incredibly-rusty-flange behind the cats on the crown vic decided to blow out today while getting some Taco Bell (having spent the last 10 days straight on-site for work, I’m off today and tomorrow).

The problem is that it sounds good now but I have to fix it. Should probably do the other side at the same time.

But hey, free BRAAAAAAAPPP.

Also, don’t we all lose our exhaust flange after eating at Taco Bell?

One time in my Town Car, I raced to hit a yellow at an intersection on a hill. I crested, came down, bottomed out, tore the exhaust pipe free from the cat.

It sounded REALLY cool, but I don’t try to hit yellow lights any more

The flange completely separated on my way to the bank, it’s now too loud for the car’s intended purpose as a daily/beater. At least a V8 is a V8 and of all options, the modulars sound pretty good (I got a weird look from a guy in a 4.6 mustang on the way home)

I bet mine would sound even better if both sides were apart! Right now I think I’ve only lost the driver’s side.
