out of the 3

I would go with the 42 inch Hydrostatic. It’s got a 19.5 hp and an oil filter.

would not even look at #1 unless was to convert to racing, and #3 is a 15hp

First choice: Cub cadet, because its old, jalopy, and probably easy to work on (?)

Second Choice: Ariens, because why not?

Third choice: Push Mower.

You can’t milk or eat a cub cadet

But you can’t just throw a sheep in the shed for six months and ignore it, then expect to drag it back out next May ready to eat more grass.

I’m leaning towards the Ariens.

No, that’s where the ‘eat’ part comes in.

Out of the 3 i’d go Ariens. I have one of their models that is similar to this one and it has never given me trouble. Also, the bagger is really nice to have for that price. One more thing, parts for this one will be readily available almost anywhere, including Amazon.

The Bolens is a fairly cheap mower and while decent for what they are that price seems a bit much considering they’re only about $950 new where I live.

Absolutely the best mower brand new but at this age parts will be hard to come by and it will most certainly need some maintenance.
