Week-end project [edit]

This Thursday is a holiday in Germany, but not in France, which is perfect for me since I work in Germany and live in France. I took tomorrow off to do all the stuff that I didn’t get done last week.

I had taken the whole last week to take care of my niece and my dog since my parents where on a trip to Scotland. Of course, I didn’t get much done since kids take up way more time than I imagined.

So this morning, I got up early, kids free, and got to it. Currently, the front of the 6 cylindre Bel Air is stripped. The plan for the days to come is to clean it up, paint it, and get the engine in for Sunday. I also have to register the Mégane tomorrow, would be too easy if that was all I’d have to do.

Looking good! What do you realistically plan to do tomorrow, besides registering the RS?

Just asking for a friend you know. It’s not like we would be judgemental if you achieved less.

Pretty soon Germany is going to build a wall and make France pay for it and you’ll have to find a new job.

I actually do these posts to push myself and forcing me to achieve something.

Goal for tomorrow is to register the Mégane, get a lower ball joint, be back at 11, paint the car, and in the afternoon, take the Mégane to Renault for an oil change (for service history reasons). And change the lower ball joint on the Mégane, so it’s ready to cruise the Alps

Man, having to work in France would really suck.
