I agree with the sentiment, the incident in London was caused by a faulty refrigerator catching fire not by any particular group of asshats. The alarm was raised by Muslims returning from suhoor at the local mosque, these locals helped rescue many people and opened up the Mosque for people who needed food and shelter.
On the other side of the coin, some scumbags from a far right organisation named “Britain First” decided that going to record an anti Muslim propaganda video in London would be a good idea and they got shouted down by londoners of all ethnicities and they had to leave.

BBC is reporting that there are “concerns” about sprinklers and alarms, and that buildings like these may not be getting proper inspections. The investigation will probably take a while.

I did find out that allegedly no sprinklers were installed during the refurb, there were none, total in the whole building. Allegedly alarms did not work.
I’m sure the truth will come out soon enough.
