It uses the 1.5L Renault K9K 896. It’s also SOHC. The Juke gets the highest output version of the K9K with 110hp.

Dude! Do you like it? I was looking and they seem to be pretty low in value, but a quick search finds nothing anywhere near me, but I found one in England for £900 with MIVEC and a manual.... it’s so tempting lol

Well, they’re very stiffly sprung and don’t like poor roads, but the big issue and the reason for the scarcity and low prices is structural rust which becomes terminal eventually. Mine only passed its test last year with a fair amount of welding and I don’t think it has long to live.
They were designed only for sale in Japan where people often don’t keep cars for long and they were never properly rustproofed.
