Passed a dead one on the way to work yesterday morning in the middle of a church driveway. That evening, someone had dragged it into the grass so it’s not blocking the driveway.
Still there this morning, but someone had tied a “Thinking of You” balloon to it’s leg. This afternoon, on the way to lunch, the corpse has swollen up the size of the Hindenberg, and now has a “Get Well Soon” balloon tied to another leg.
I may drop off flowers on the way home this evening if it’s still there.

Funny thing is I had been to an archery range earlier and had a bow with me. Unfortunately, I was across the street from the Sheriff’s office.

What you don’t see in that picture is the porta-potty I would’ve needed to drive through to get to them. I’m a fan of marinades with wild game, but that’s not a flavor profile I want to try.
