I will be running a shop next week while my friend, the owner, is out of town. Babysitting, more like it...
He needs a cordless telephone solution so that he can move between the office and the shop and not be chained to his desk when he needs to talk to someone.
I like noise canceling headphones. What have you used?

I thought about what you said, and can’t remember the last time I had a real conversation on my phone more than 3 minutes that wasn’t over bluetooth in my car...

Actually I would argue these days, a mobile phone would sound better than a landline. Have you heard what HD Voice or VoLTE sounds like? It’s miles better than POTS.

If you want good-good stuff you have to look at enterprise solutions. Polycom is the leader there and their VVX D60 series handhelds are pretty much flawless. You’d have to switch over to a VOIP/SIP provider though. Consumer-space wireless phones are no better than cells and are worse in many cases.

It seems to me that the higher the frequencies got, the worse the crodless phones got, not to mention skinny and slippery to hold onto. Definitely don’t want anything from the consumer space.

I got to the end two or three times then lost interest. It was fun setting up a defense and mowing them down.
