It’s a little bit dull at first, but you’ll feel for the poor guy in the CR-V near the end.

Why was the cameraman out of his car? I assume he had run over the tire already and stopped to check for damage? Looks scary as hell at night.

The cameraman is me, and that’s exactly what happened. I noticed that my lower grille was completely missing, so I walked back to see if I could spot it. I also tried to warn other drivers to slow down, but gave up after I got too far back for comfort.

I had a similar situation with a pallet several years ago. Took out half of my plastic belly pan and gouged my oil pan, which left me stranded at work for a couple days until I could DIY repair it (in my work parking lot). That was about the time I said “no more lowered cars for me.” Just too much risk.

Yes, I know. PartyPooper and all...

You tried to warn motorists to slow down.... putting your life in danger so strangers didn’t break their plastic bumpers...

All the niceness aside, fuck other motorists. Many don’t know how to operate blinkers or merge properly. You expect them to slow down and avoid debris in the road without plowing right through you?

Alternatively, should have called cops with their blinking lights and all, they could have shut down the road for a few minutes while they removed the debris.
