Opponauts, what is your favorite automotive design house, and why (or which particular cars do you like)?

Figoni et Falaschi - maybe. Everybody posts their Delahaye 135s, but the Talbot Lagos they did were at least as strong.
Pourtout were almost as good but got stuck in a rut with some of their design elements.

Bertone. Miura and Fiat X1/9 are some of my faves. Pininfarina a close second.

I like Bertone, because look at their rendition of the Jaguar XJ:

If this was a fastback it would possibly the most beautiful thing ever put on four wheels.

Dude did everything from the Daytona...
To the BMW 1600 series...
To every Triumph model post 1960 with the exception of the TR6 and TR7.

My problem is I don’t like one house over the other. The all make amazing cars and terrible cars. So I am going to choose designers.
1. Ian Callum
Come on he did the RS200, Escort Cosworth, DB7, R390, Vanquish, DB9, XK, and F-Type to name a few.
2. Ercole Spada
Because he penned the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato while working for Zagato.
Though if I had to choose I would say the Jaguar Factory Design Group or whatever they call it.

Carrozzeria Touring.
…Or Bertone.
Yeah, it has to be Bertone - even Gandini worked there.

They’re definitely up there for me as well. I’ve never seen that version of the Disco Volante before though. Nice!

Not to be rude, but you have all of Bertone to choose from and you choose THAT ? No Miura? Not even a Countach? To be fair I like it too though.

1) Fuck that would be a pain to keep warm or cold.
2) Fuck that would take forever to clean.
3) I love it.

If you can afford to buy this house you can afford the utility bills and a cleaning service.
