It has an “engine hours” meter.

Every car should have one of these by law (and a lifetime rev counter). IMHO, selling cars based strictly on mileage is pretty questionable.

All vehicles should have these.

I imagine it’s lingering programming from the Charger police vehicle, no?

My ‘15 F One Fiddy has this... In addition it detects when a trailer is plugged in for towing and also reports miles while towing. And I believe its total engine on hours and total engine idle hours. Pretty crazy stuff.

Considering every hard drive has one it doesn’t seem like it should be a big deal for cars. My three drives are 4845, 10844, and 29647 hours if you’re curious.

MOst cars have that. GM trucks have for many years and I think most other GM cars have too.

This is actually quite common. Good way to understand if the vehicle miles were truly “mostly highway miles” when buying a car too.

I’m not big on larger cars, but the current-facelift generation of the Charger and 300S really look awesome in my opinion! I just wish they came with manuals...which is completely against that type of large, comfortable car, but I really prefer manuals to automatics. (and not just trying to be one of THOSE guys either, I just really enjoy driving stick...it’s comforting and familiar to me, and gives you a little more control)

My new F-150 has an engine hour meter as well. I dig it. Ironically, the boat doesn’t have an hour meter, as the dealer didn’t order it with that option in 1995.
