A good friend of mine, an attorney who has been at the table during 12 SCOTUS arguments in her career, says she thinks that leaking the memo was beneath Mr. Comey. I could not disagree, but I also think that nothing is beneath Donald Trump. And after Trump sacked Comey so messy , Mr. Comey made a conscious choice to engage President Trump on Trump’s level.

I think Comey can leak his own memos as long as they don’t contain classified informations. The Israeli informant leak, while certainly just leaked due to Trump’s own stupidity and no malice per se, would still be, I think, illegal. Though he did not compromise the US on this one... Only one of its ally, so I’m not sure lol :)

If the meeting minutes between the president of the US and FBI director cannot be discussed we have serious issues. Comey seems to be the only administor keeping track of meeting minutes, with Flynn and Sessions only meeting the Russian ambassador and forgetting what was discussed.
