What vanity plate would you put on your car?

If you don’t want one, still pick one. Because I said so.
For my Escort, I’ve considered ESCCART or DIRTY, but I’d probably fill out the rest of the application with a few stupider references. CALL GRL, etc.

The Soul would probably have better luck of getting one approved. SEOUL, first and foremost. (Maybe OF SEOUL?) Then DE LA, TRAIN, LOST... you know, a whole bunch of cheesy things.

If I had an exotic car, I actually would spring for one. ITSACAR, ITS OKAY, BORING, CAMRY, COROLLA, UGLY, etc. Hell, going along with that first one, maybe NOTACAR just to confuse people.

If I had a Camaro, I would try to get some variation of BITCHIN to slip through.

And if I had a tan Cutlass Ciera, it would be DLR. When someone finally gets the reference, it will have been worth it.

There is a show that my wife was watching, where there were 3 things that barred you from heaven no matter what. I have no idea what the other two were, but one was having a vanity license plate.

I always thought I’d kind of disguise it as a regular plate (keep in mind I’d only put vanity plates on a car that I like, not some regular old daily driver/appliance type car). For instance, in Ontario the format is ABCD 123, in the letters I could fit my initials and the number could be a number I like or the horse power rating or something, idk.

My front Euro plate on the Passat said “VITAMNB5" which is too obscure for 99% of the population except the occasional VAG guy. For actual vanity plates, I always thought something benign like 01GLX would be fine.

Wife’s Odyssey, we’ve thought about HOMER (we’re also big simpsons fans) as well as MAXPOWR and VTECYO, all of which are available right now.

i like the anonymity of a plain plate that doesnt let on that there is something special going on with the car. so i would have to go with something similar.
