Attention Kinja staff...
This new feature where you have to click “show more comments” combined with the neverending scrolling through articles is extremely annoying and is not working properly.
If I get a notification that someone replied to a comment of mine and click to read the reply it puts me 3 articles down the page, then I have to scroll all the way back up and click “show more comments” just to read the reply.
This very same feature cut off the bottom of the posting window when I tried to comment on an article this morning. I could not click the “publish” button because it was hidden behind the Taboola link bar. Scrolling down did not uncover it.

Sometimes when I want to reply to a comment, the pubslish and cancel buttons don’t show up, so I have to reload the page and click show all comments again and scroll down and click load more comments again, and more scrolling and more clicking load more comments and hopefully this time the publish button will still be there when I’m done typing

Hello kind Ernie: Thank you for all you do. I have also noticed a few very annoying current Kinja items as well: (1) Might it be possible (for us chickens) to disable (at will) the dropdown insanity at the top of each page; and no I don’t appreciate all that interference because my silly mouse tends to scroll over some odd-bit of Kinja titling (2) Those tabbouleh ads just below that gigantic white-space atop many Kinja pages are totally distracting, and cause me to skip-over those pages each and every time I view them (3) The Kinja Notifications are wonky, but you stated that repair efforts are underway. Thanks for listening.

Hi Ernie, Just to note, there is something that adds a placeholder photo to posts without pictures that get included in the lower right frame, some of which aren’t exactly suitable for the subject matter. Kind of like those websites that tag a reference to a blind man with a link to a curtain fitter.

Hiya. By dropdown I suppose you mean the blog navigation elements that pop up when you highlight a blog name? Unfortunately that can’t be disabled.
Tabbouleh is good, distracting ads are not. Could you send a screenshot of the ad with a brief description of your concern to us via email ?

Hi Ernie, I’m not sure if it’s what qwertt was referring to, but the main issue I had with the nav bar’s automatic drop-down was that it wouldn’t auto-hide after moving the cursor away.
I usually visit Kinja sites through my browser’s bookmarks, which means that upon loading a blog, my cursor briefly passes over the nav bar as I go to browse the latest posts. For a while there, the drop-down thumbnails would not retract unless you moved the mouse back up over the nav bar a second time. It would block the notification drop-down, too. But it looks like this might have been fixed already. The auto-hide seems to be working great for me now.
