I don’t usually post music, but after seeing a few posts, I figured I’d try my hand with this underappreciated minor hit from 1981 by Balance.
Reached #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album reached #133 on the Billboard 200. They had one other even more minor hit from that album, and soon faded into obscurity.
Another album was made, called ‘In For The Count’, which eventually became a casualty of layoffs at CBS, Epic, and the band’s label, Portrait.
They did find a bit of success in Japan soon after, writing a song called Ride The Wave, which was used to promote the then new Daihatsu Charade (though I can’t seem to find such ad on YT).
