Why don't cars come with cool seatbelts anymore?

Nowadays it seems if you want something other than grey, black, or beige you need to drop like $100k on a bespoke sports or luxury car.

but that couple of cents you spend will cost $$$$ over the lifespan therefore costing the shareholders money, so it’s clearly out of the equation, as we all know the shareholders come first, sadly.

The crazy thing is the color of the seatbelt fabric has nothing to do with stock price. Saving a few dollars per car has no effect on stock price. Making a good profit doesn’t even help these days. It’s PURE speculation. Just look at Ford and Tesla prices.

Maybe Ford just needs to start rumors of developing solar windows for homes. Stock price would double overnight.

I’m still jealous of the Starion/Conquest’s seat belts. My car is has a Turbo and it’s only a few years newer why don’t I get a cool TURBO seat belts?

Also on red interior cars the belts were red with gold.

I want to know why they all have to be bare metal. I know powder coating can be expensive, or maybe even some chemical process, but these things are so hot during the summer. I would gladly pay extra to not burn myself all summer.
