Customer today came in with air bag light flashing, pulled codes and drivers seat side air bag was open circuit, looked at the harness under the seat and a good 3 inches of wire was missing. Customer said dog must have chewed it and almost broke down when we told her if we couldn’t repair it to the correct resistances she’d have to replace the entire interior wiring harness-a 10 hour job. Car had less than 5k miles too, but luckily my boss is pretty good at wiring repairs and was able to get it put back together within normal tolerances.
TL;DR-don’t leave your damn dog in the car.
Have a couple DOTS for your time- an opel corsa in CO for some reason.

Also, heard a Car Talk call where wrestling dogs were to blame for a broken 4 speed after the truck mysteriously reversed a couple times.

When I bought my Galant the front seat belts had been chewed through completely by the previous owners dog. I think the shifter knob had been chewed too, but that could have been just because she wore a lot of rings.

I don’t think so didn’t get a clean look but looked euro style. I believe that generation debuted in ‘92 so could be legal.

Yeah I’ve seen handbrakes chewed up before but never wiring that’s usually rodent work. Musta been a chiweenie or similar ratdog.

It’s an Opel Corsa alright (in design) but there’s no (European) Opel badge in the pictures. The license plate is very un-european too. It’s probably rebadged as a Chevy or so and from Mexico. This generation of Corsa debuted turn of the century.

It’s an Opel Corsa C. It’s got Corsa badges but I don’t recognise the manufacturer badge.

As someone else mentioned, looks to be a Chevy badged one. They make a Chevy badge with a circle round it for rebadges. I would post a photo but kinja wont let me.
