My jeep has been stored more or less for about 6-10 years. Only really started when I moved into the house I live in ( not pictured). A true “Ran when parked”
It needs Maintence, and gas that costs less than $3.75/gallon.
I’m thinking of just dropping it off at a shop I know of and having them getting it road & trail ready. I don’t know how much that’d cost. But I really don’t want to do it myself.

I helped trail prep my friend’s XJ over the last year, it was all easy and cheap but extremely time consuming.

Really it’s Maintence that needs done. I have tons of money in lockers, bumpers, gears, tires etc.
Meaning I don’t want to break down doing trail rides.

Quick question about these. The black one I have I was going to replace the tie rods. It’s a 32mm lock not that I couldn’t get on jack stands in the driveway, so took it to a shop and they get it done but when I pick it up it only turns left??? Will steer to straight but won’t go right. So I bought a new steering rack and..... ran when parked, just didn’t drive.
What would cause a rack to lose right turns?

Wonder if they had the rack off center when it was aligned, giving more lock to left? They’d have to be idiots to do that, though... How many turns does it go left? Think these are a little over 2 turns lock to lock.

Guy wants 3k for this. Not as nice as the pic makes it look, the interior is destroyed (but he has a spare), and surface rust on leading edges of original paint. Solid body though. Runs nice now, but has suffered some prior wiring hackery. Needs a clutch.
