I'm probably going to automotive hell for this, but...

I put a steering wheel cover on the ‘Teg. The pain of the guilt is less than the pain of holding onto a hot steering wheel.

And if General Sherman is correct, Texas is worse than hell anyway.

Also the Integra’s about to go past it’s break in period!

I have one of these on my ranger. I like it a lot. No shame in a wheel cover

Oh man and it hasn’t even been that hot yet this year. Make sure to get a good sun shield too. If I forget to put mine up the LCD on my radio won’t even come on for 10 minutes after work.

I know, living in Washington for 3 years undid all of my Texas .acclimatization. As least here it’s dry enough your sweat actually evaporates. In Houston you just get drenched and not any cooler.

My wife had one like that on her Cavalier. I hated it. I almost gave me rope burn on more than one occasion.

Get a nice wood wheel. All you problems will be solved.

It was a little bit humid today, but it should go down as we get towards July. Yeah it takes a year or two to get used to it, but you do. I just spent two hours sitting outside on my buddy’s front porch in Southtown in blue jeans and boots and it felt perfect outside. Drinking cold cider helped too though.

I use the mylar windshield reflector.

When I was 19, in 1984, I was stationed in Louisiana and I’d get into my ‘76 Nova and the wheel and the aluminum Hurst shift knob would be so hot that they would literally burn my hands and I thought, “How do people live like this?” Years later, I discovered sun shields.

I use one too, it helps, but there’s still a lot of sun that gets through the windows.
