The crew was filming for the Grand Tour at a hillclimb in Switzerland, and the reports say that Hammond went off the road in the white Rimac on his third run. The car caught fire and burned to the ground. No report yet of Hammond’s condition.

I shame, glad he’s ac least conscious as that’s a very good sign...hopine he makes a full recovery. Following the news now to see what goes on.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this was the end of him on Grand Tour. After two bad major accidents, me might want to give up the dangerous life, and in many ways I wouldn’t blame him with a family back home.

“An Amazon spokeswoman told The Sun: “Richard Hammond was involved in a serious crash after completing the Hemburg Hill Climb in Switzerland in a Rimac Concept One, an electric super car built in Croatia, during filming for The Grand Tour Season 2 on Amazon Prime, but very fortunately suffered no serious injury.”
Lucky duck that Hammond!!! He does still have a fractured knee though.

Back in 2006 he was doing a bit for Top Gear with a jet engine-powered dragster, and during a speed run, one of the rear tires blew. Look it up, he ended up a lot worse after that one than this one! Depression....brain damage, etc, etc...was in the hospital for like 5 months.
