I was really hoping it’d look better in person. It doesn’t look BAD, but I do think the 15-17 looks better
The hood is my biggest complaint to be honest. The vents look very cheap and hurt the overall feel of the car

I get what they were trying to accomplish with the 18 in the front but it just doesn’t look as well thought out and cohesive as the 15-17.
For clarification, they were trying to get the headlight “downward curve” from the previous generation and original. The 15-17 swooped up, which apparently isn’t Mustang-y

I see that, and after seeing it in person I think regulations are the problem. The amber reflector must have to extend back pretty far which stretched the downward curve too far back making the headlight too long. That’s why the black spot behind the projector and above the reflector is empty with a mustang logo.
If the headlight housing ended at the base of the projector it would work much better

I really like the XK so I’m actually not too upset with the similarity. The hood is so bad though...
Curious to see what the aftermarket does with it. Hood vents should be easy to replace

Wow the XKR-S did not age well at all. I remember liking it a few years ago. 10/10 would rather have a F-Type V6S manual.

I like that Jag too, but it just looks a bit dated now.
The GT’s aero bits help a little, but I think the front on view is the worst angle for this vehicle.
But the standard XKR looks great still
