And why were there so many GTRs and Vettes and 911s and stuff around Wildcat Mountain State Park in Wisconsin on my drive back home from vacation? I felt like such a pleb rockin the CX-5 through the twisties.
Dashcam caught some of them, and one of the checkpoints on hwy33 just south of the park. Fun road. Will have to do again in a proper vehicle.

Well the kinds of rallies I see end up in SF are full of douchebags, supercars with vinyl and driving like asshats in the city.

These ones seemed surprisingly tame. The few cars I saw, anyways. There weren’t any super or hypercars though, like shown on their site. But like I said, I only saw a few.
Funny that the map they show doesn’t mention coming halfway into Wisconsin...

Crown Rally is a car rally that started in St. Paul on Friday morning and stopped in Cedar Rapids on Friday night and then went to Chicago Saturday and stayed there a night. Crown is definitely not your stereotypical rally with a bunch of douches I volunteered for it this year by running a checkpoint and not one of them were your typical rich prick. Very nice people and this Rally raised over $40k for Epilepsy.
