shame they just forgot halfway threw designing the car what they wanted it to do... the new not the old. it was everything this was suppose to be.

Yeah what’s most disappointing is they have the same premise - a small, efficient, and fun car. And the CR-Z really isn’t much bigger than the CRX. But instead of keeping it light and simple they stuck the darn hybrid system in it and then tried to tune it to still be fun. It probably would’ve gotten essentially the same fuel economy and been lighter and just as quick if they stuck the L13 in it.

I know a lot of people hate on the CR-Z, but I don’t find it to be too bad. To me it’s more of a 1st gen insight successor than a CR-X successor.

I love the look. I know it’ll never happen but I daydream of buying one cheap in a few years, stripping out the hybrid stuff, and stuffing something like a B16B into it.

And yet I would still pick the 20+ year old CRX... But swap a K block into that Z and you’ve got my attention. Also, for some reason I really don’t like the badging on the CRZ’s, I’d remove everything off the back.

I don’t like the hybrid badge and “CR-Z” but the H can stay. I would be nice if it was a little smaller though.

Yeah, it’s like Honda really wants you to KNOW it’s a H O N D A .

Could probably change it with a smaller / more subtle badge.
