Basically, why street racing is bad. I feel like it’s an important thing to hear, and sadly things like this happen too often. Up the street from me there’s a crumpled up median divider. Last year a high school senior was showing off his freshly acquired car off to his friends. He was racing one of his buddies when he lost control of his car and slammed into the aforementioned divider, killing him and his passenger. So please don’t street race, there are safer and legal ways to get that adrenaline you seek. Thank you for reading.

A long time ago, I went to the funeral of a kid who was about to leave for college, but crashed a Saab he and his dad had restored into a telephone pole. Too many young dudes take risks like that. RIP

This is one of the reasons I try to avoid letting my friend drive. He drives at 11/10ths whenever other people are with him even when it’s an unfamiliar car.
