Infinite scrolling has started crashing browsers so instead of turning that off they are truncating posts. Because posts don’t drive ad revenue.

It’s even worse than that. If someone replies to your comment and you click on the notification to see it, the page scrolls to where the reply is supposed to be and guess what? You have to click “more replies” to try to get to the comment you’re trying to see.

To the people of Kinja, please leave it the hell alone, take up sudoku or crosswords or something, just please stop ‘fixing’ things that work.

The only time we complain that things aren’t working, is after when you’ve altered things. So please, stop it.

Step 1: click “show more comments” to remove bar blocking half of the 3 “top replies”

Step 2: click “all replies” to show 5 most popular threads

Step 3: click “show pending” to unlock grey replies

Step 4: click “load more comments” to show 5 more popular threads

Step 5: scroll down and repeat step 4 until all threads are loaded

Step 97: click “show more replies in this thread” to expand threads of more than 5 replies

Step 98: CTRL+F, search for “kinja”

Step 99: hand out stars to everyone who feels the same way about Kinja
