Members of the Oppositelock online racing community have joined up with the Reddit Online Racing Association to race in the TEC 24 Hours of Le Mans sanctioned and hosted by The Online Racing Association . With a Porsche 919 Hybrid and two Corvette C7.Rs, Oppositelock has five drivers among the three cars. In the #84 Porsche 919 is Corey CC97 . In the #65 Corvette C7.R, TheCowmaster and Mr. Plankton . And in the self titled ‘Team Slow’ #271 Corvette C7.R, Viggen and SVTyler .
The 24 hour event is divided up into twelve, two hour long, driver stints, with each driver taking an average of three stints over the race, which will race into the terrifying darkness of night on the Mulsanne Straight. Some of the event will likely be streamed by individual drivers, so be sure to check back if you’d like a link to watch! Most of the team is set to qualify tonight.
The green flag is set to drop at 10:00 AM EST (1500 BST) on June 10. Wish our drivers luck!

I wish i had a current gen so I could join in this sort of fun.. But for now all I have is my 360 :/ I don’t game enough to justify the upgrade but i really want to race with ya’ll too.

Check out Twitch.tv during the 24 hour period of the race and look for any Forza 6 stream during Le Mans.

They run twelve consecutiv 2-hour long lobbies as ‘stints’ with one driver from each team driving in each lobby. Race organizers record the distance traveled in each stint and add them together for each team total, which get compared to the other teams to decide the final standings. They just change the middle six stints to night settings to simulate the time changes.

Eh, I’ve already got a night stint and happy hour, in addition to my first stint, so I’m good! But in terms of rain, I think Le Mans is kinda meh with rain.

Haha! That it will be. I’ve got a post qualifying/ pre race post in the works where I’ll go over the details of that.
Still though, we’ve got the easy job. Drive clean and don’t ruin anyone’s race! Feel bad that Mack, Chair, and Cereal have to pick up our slack!
