Those giant exposed primary drive belts always seemed like a terrible idea.
Even among the other typical bad ideas of these sort of bikes.

1. It’s more of a show bike than a regular driver. Painted drive belts are not uncommon on them. It’s done enough to where Motorcycle magazines have done write ups on it. It’ll last longer than one would think.
2. If you’re wearing a lace up shoe on a bike like this...... I would imagine anyone interested would be riding in boots.
Personally, I’d be running SOME type of shield toward the front of the belt at the least though....

what do you mean? it’s not they they really drive these things. only on and off the trailer a block from the gathering so people think they are bad asses.. how much could go wrong in a block?

There was a biker build off back when Discovery channel was cool, one of the guys put a super wide chain drive on it, but with the pegs positioned like the bike up top. It chewed up the bottom of his pant leg.

It’s still triple wide roller chain wide, and one of the sprockets is right next to your big toe.... I’d rather have it beind my heel.
