Kinja'd!!!

Max says hi. He has been fighting this morning. I heard it, and noticed the white fur on his mouth.

I am fighting a sinus cold. My cat as asleep beside me...she suddenly sneezed and farted at the same time. It was the first thing I could smell in 2 days. Thus I realized it was time to wake up.

Nice, earning his keep. Here’s our 8-week-old adoptee being trained by my son — both 9 feet off the ground on top of our swingset/climbing wall. This is his best “Lion King” pose (the cat, that is).

Good morning to you too sir!

My cat (also called Max) came in the other morning covered in blood, I mean it was everywhere. All over his face, chest, legs, paws, it was horrific, there were also many feathers stuck to him. I though he had finally managed to catch one of the local magpies that constantly seem to taunt him and he had bitten off more than he could chew (so to speak) especially as magpies always come in twos!

There was so much blood that I couldn’t clean off, it seemed to just keep coming, that I (as kitty daddy in full on panic mode!) rushed him to the vets convinced he was going to bleed out.

Turns out he didn’t have a mark on him, it was all from whatever he killed (looking closely at the feathers later prob a wood pigeon). I still don’t know if I should be mad at him or proud for what was evidently a very successful hunt.

Edit for a picture of his lordship looking like butter wouldn’t melt -
