Joker’s Wild = Joker is Wild

Aces High = Aces [are] High

This is an egregious inconsistency in the card-playing world. Both card types are represented multiple times in a given card deck, so why not:

Jokers Wild = Jokers [are] Wild

or

Ace’s High = Ace is High

or

Why not some standard. Why is IEEE not involved and harmonizing this across the industry?! Why!!?
