What I really hate is when I shut off the engine with the car in gear, but let off the clutch before it’s actually stopped turning. And you hear the “chunk” of the engine stopping suddenly as the car jumps forward a bit.

Went to a tire shop once, got my tires and went into my car. Immediately started my car into they’re building because they left it in gear and I never do(And didn’t check like an idiot) I didn’t break the wall(brick) but I’m sure I scared the shit out of the office people inside. Manager came out(who had just sold me the tires) and looked sort of pissed and sort of suprised. Bent the bumper skeleton slightly and that was it. Now I wiggle my shift knob like 3-4 times before I start the car.

Didn’t hold the clutch once, I learned and never forgot the clutch ever again, I can still feel the bucking to this day

I usually do this with the Niva because sometimes it takes it a bit to actually stop.

I’ve always had a habit of wiggling my knob when I am going to start my car! :P
