AMA! It’s a 2017 s35i with the ZF8. The engine feels good even in this fat body. It wallows a bit but isn’t too bad for a big SUV. The steering is the lightest I have ever felt on a BMW. Visibility is good. Looks and feels like a BMW inside. The air con sucks. I would never buy one.
The X1 was throwing an SES light for the thermostat and Valvetronic system. Also, the stop start was malfunctioning. All at 71k miles.

Hearing “air con sucks” is where I decided I’d never buy one. Then I remembered I have 3 vehicles with zero ac from the factory...
How are the seats? Comfy? Could you lay the front seat back and go to sleep? Do the back seats fold flat... Could you put a camping pad in the back?
Burnout capabilities..?

Seats are typical BMW. Firm. They dont lay totally flat, but you could make it work with a sleeping pad. I’ll test out the burnout capabilities tomorrow.

This one is only 2wd and is riding on 19" wheels with low profile tires. It would probably struggle on a parking block.

Yeah, I should have parked it in the alley so my wife wouldn’t see it. My X1 is actually much more enjoyable to drive.
