The service at the downtown Marriott in Oakland sucks. This used to be one of my favorite hotels, but something is wrong. They are well staffed at the bar, but surly, unpleasant and not attentive.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
They changed management and remodeled a couple of years ago, and still fail to get it right.

At least it has a bar. The last two hotels the race team put us up in had none. We rolled up after the first day to a resounding “uhhh, what the fuck is this?” If we’re going to work 14 hours there had damn well better be a bar at the end.
