Thanks to all of you Opponauts who helped me ID the cars in these photos this morning! Here are a few shots from an abandoned mansion in Maryland that I visited recently. The home was built in 1884 and abandoned for good in 2004. Most of the items in the home date to the mid-60s. The cars are apparently a 1973 Buick Centurion, 1965 Chevy Impala SS, and two 1962 Chevy Impalas.

Old houses are fun. I’m living with the mother in law in her 170 year old house(1847). It’s annoyingly and fun at the same time. Old houses have quirks that have been well thought out by now. Also add one weren’t always thoght through in 1900.

Depends on the house. Shoes aren’t always a must. I definitely did this time, though. Always a smart decision when it’s so dark you can’t see where you’re stepping.
Very cool that you got to visit an abandoned mental hospital. Most of those places have pretty tight security, which generally keeps me away!

I wish I had the time and money to restore a house like that. Seriously would be my dream home.
