My dad has a nice set that he never uses but that I do to change my oil. He “gave” them to me a while back, but since I don’t have space to store them in my apartment, they just stay in his garage. Lol. Speaking of which... my car’s due for an oil change. Thanks for reminding me. :)

I’ve got a pair of those exact ramps that I bought at the Exchange on my Army post in Germany 29 years ago.

No way I could trust my life with those. I know they won’t fail with 1500lbs or less, but they just look like they would collapse in the middle.

I use jack stands and rear wheel chocks with the ramps I have.

I used mine once, I found it more quick to the put it on jack stands. I also feels safer then the ramps. Good thing they only cost me $15.

At one time I had two sets of those. Never could get a car onto them without jacks. A set of stands were always immensely more useful.

Those should holdup those little Toyotas just fine. Be sure to use wheel chocks. The father of my Mom’s best friend was killed when his Lincoln rolled off them and onto him.

I’ve got a set like this, but they’ve got an x-brace in them as well. I’m sure the shaping probably gives them decent strength, but I’m not putting anything over 3k on a set of ramps like that. Zoidfarb should be okay with the Tercel.

Looks just like the set in my fathers garage, many a night of my childhood was spent underneath the Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Diesel wagon he had holding the light so he could change the oil. We’d use a piece of firewood to chock the wheels. My job other than holding the light was to stand in front of the car and tell him when he was on the ramp.

Picked a truck up off my stepdad after it rolled off one of these. Not the fault of the ramps

I have a set of those in yellow instead of red. Very handy for the truck. Not so handy for the WRX.
