This year it happened at my apartment complex. Great, fantastic. They had two eggs. The first was a direct hit and put a DEEP chip in the paint. It’s so caked on there I still can’t get it off. Egg number two missed and rolled under the car. Phil is unharmed.
Now I won’t be able to park and trust that my cars won’t be hurt. :( The worst part is that my dash cam only runs when the car is running.
This weekend is already a load of garbage. I’m sick, I still can barely breathe, couldn’t do my brakes, couldn’t start the off-road project, and now this.
Ugggh, I really cannot freaking catch a break!

People are assholes. They should have used organic eggs instead.
I kid, I kid.
That sucks. Eggs are bad for the paint. You should wash it off quickly.

Ugg, people are assholes sometimes.
Does the complex have security cameras?

I’m not sure what kind of satisfaction people get out of throwing eggs at cars.

One time someone threw an entire cantaloupe at the back window in my dads Silverado, along with eggs at the Safari (lol kid you aren’t hurting that paint) and house. I don’t understand people.

That sucks.
Out of curiosity, is that apartment building actually curved, or is that just distortion from the lens?

Sorry to hear about that. Get it washed asap or use dish washing soap. Wax the smart. Follow up by smashing your enemies.

Actually curved! It’s a cluster of about 7 C-Shaped buildings.

Maybe it’s time for a new dashcam.
“ Records While You’re Away
When your car is parked, DashCam’s Gravity Sensor detects sudden movements, such as a car bumping into your car, and automatically turns on to record activity.”
I don’t know how sensitive it is, but if this one does it, surely there are others that do to!

They have a hilariously useless security officer and internal cameras, nothing outside though.

Still trying to figure out why some people feel like vandalism is so cool or whatever. I mean, these people would hate it if their car got egged!

Exactly, haha. If you find out who did it, I’ll find a dinosaur egg to drop on their car.

Small amount of acetone on a rag, wipe on wipe off. Use spray detailer to remove residue. Done.

You’d think that outside the building would be an excellent place for cameras...

Might be worth a shot! Might also be time to get covered parking or a good car cover. *sigh*

my buddies window got egged. by the time the building crew came it was a crusty mess. if you haven’t cleaned, I recommend some soap and warm water. maybe try wetting and sticking paper towels on to help soften?

Thankfully I got it off (whew!). I’ll likely get around to fixing it this weekend. :)
