Figured I would drive the S10 to town last night since I hadn’t driven it in a while. Went to unfold the mirrors and this one fell off in my hand. Decided to just drive the car instead.

Whoever had this truck before the guy I got it from sure did some rigging. The power mirror wires are all cut and shoved inside the door. The mirrors on there now are manual ones. So, I’m guessing the original power mirrors fell off and were cut off and replaced with junkyard manual ones. The good news is that new manual mirrors are $10.00 on RockAuto.

I used to own an S-10. Great little trucks but things randomly falling off is a pretty common occurance.

Empty a tube of PL back there and hope the mirror never gets broken :)

Looks like the Mazda’s leprosy is spreading.

That happened to the 2000 Mustang our family keeps. We just had the passenger hold the mirror up whenever it’s needed haha.

HA! Nice.

These mirrors have been broken for a while. Just hadn’t fallen off yet. Yesterday was the final give for them.
