One of my buddies(who is usually a smart car guy) said it wouldn’t age well and compared the angles to the first gen CTS. In how it looks awful nowI couldn’t tell him how wrong he was enough.

I think the wheels might be a little over done - distract from the otherwise beautiful lines. I really like the original SC and the 2nd gen LS is beautiful in it’s own way too.

Having had our first one go through my dealership I work for, I agree and disagree.
It is arguably the best looking Lexus ever; I however dislike it. And I am a staunch defender of the current Lexus design aesthetic; spindle (Predator) grill and all.
I’m not quite sure what I dislike about it, but I’m just not won over.
In terms of modern Lexus cars I’d want, I’d take a GS F without hesitation.

They look fine until the plastic in the back fades. That was such a dumb trunk design from day one.

I think Cadillac agreed with you, that’s why from 2004 on they had a monochrome panel back there. I made that modification to mine and it looked sharp.
