No God would tell you to kill and destroy. That’s Satan. These people are all worshipping a devil of their own design. Every Muslim I’ve met was a normal, peaceful person. It’s important we don’t forget how far from the teachings of Islam these people are.

deport the families to country of origin regardless of immigration status.

if any member of family born in the UK deport them too.

Many terrorists are converted brits... Many are also born in the UK with perfectly normal families that do not even recognize them as family members anymore. Also you can’t just send back someone to his country of origin just because his parents or grand parents were not born in the UK... That’s as if you were to commit a crime in Australia and the Australian justice decides to send you back to the UK because we all know Australians are just british criminals in the first place...

Not even sure the UK would want you either :D

Here’s the thing: the number one reason ISIS claims all sorts of bad events, even if an event isn’t caused by an extremist, is because they want to stoke fear in the hearts of Christians everywhere. You deprive ISIS of their life force by simply seeing them as asscunts, not Muslims, and you have already crippled them.

It’s not about Christians though. Many in these countries, like the UK, Germany and France, are no Christians. They tend to be secular. Living in the Netherlands I know very few Christians under the age of 60 and living in Germany now most Christians are Christians in tradition only, they don’t believe in God.

My point being: the terrorists don’t target Christians specifically. They’d be attacking the US or eastern Europe if that was their main goal. They target westerners. Freedom. People with a different way of life in a country they’re familiar with.

Agreed though, we should address them as the cunts they are. While Muslim they are a tiny extremist minority. People outside of the isles didn’t distrust Protestants/Catholics due to the problems in Northern Ireland a few decades ago either.

Exactly my point. It’s people who have made up a cult loosely based on an existing relgion and are using it as an excuse to be criminal fuckheads. Although as duurtlang mentioned they target anyone who don’t believe in precisely what they do, even Muslims.

But the guy isn’t even from India. It would be like deporting me to Scotland, even though I was born and raised in Canada and have never even been to Scotland.

There’s a reason why laws and rights exist. Because if you deny them to one person, it is a very slippery slope to where the practice will end up.

People have always chosen what to believe from the Bible, very few take the whole thing as truth. I’m just hoping people see Jesus spreading peace as the God they need and not the dickhole in the old testament. I’m an atheist but I fully understand why people latch onto religion and won’t judge anyone for it. They could right for all I know.

I’m an atheist myself and not here to advocate religion. But it’s a personal choice and we have to respect that to a point. I firmly believe if religion didn’t exist people would find another excuse to be a shitbag. There are still plenty of people who find peace in religion.

Which means what? About jack shit really. Lots of people find peace in alcoholism. That doesn’t mean it’s good for them, or the people around them. Killing, stealing, destruction, abuse - there is no end to the misery religion causes, enables, and justifies. Oh yeah, but it’s a good distraction for plenty of folks, and some of them even do good for society at large sometimes, that definitely makes up for all the scams, schemes, cults, kidnappings, murders, terror, and so on. Yeah, wonderful thing this believing in fantasy more deeply than reality. Religion is just the most dangerous form of escapism.

My point here is that people deserve choice. If we persecute religion are we any better than those who commit crimes based on faith? All you can do is educate and hope that sense prevails. Pushing people from faith may make them cling more closesly to it and resent you for your actions.

I grew up in an extremely religious household, and saw hundreds of people who took the bible literally. I’ve met people who’d say patently insane things, while others nodded and agreed over lunch, as though saying completely batshit crazy things was just a normal polite thing to do. You’d never spot them in a crowd, but once they’re in their comfort zone you’d see how fucking terrifying all this really is. You have no idea how completely divorced from reality most people are.

No, just one where we stop excusing the problems with religion. You know, for instance, that when diagnosing mental illness, exceptions have to be made for the “magical thinking” of the religious? We literally let people off the hook for insane beliefs and behavior just because their particular delusions are culturally acceptable. And it hasn’t really done our world a lot of good.

Meanwhile many of them don’t really care about what happens to us or our world, so long as they personally get rewarded in the respective afterlife of their own religion.

Sure, but I’m pointing out the fallacy of comparing religion to hobbies.

Beyond that automobiles in general have been subject to a “cracking down” on every few years for the betterment of society at large, compared to if we just did almost nothing at all simply because some of us like cars a lot.

Agreed. Old Testament God was pretty vengeful, but after Jesus, we are to love all, and I’m not up on my Islamic, but from what I know, it’s pretty similar. Neither religion teaches to hate and murder. We have to be careful to remember that. Also, Christianity had some bad folks too that did some bad things in the name of “God” doesn’t make it right. But it happened and still happens.

I’ve seen firsthand people that were hateful turn a bit softer after someone had shown them love and caring. It truely works. I know I’ve become much more accepting of different religions and beliefs. I’m not so much trying to “win” folks over, but I sure will try to help them out if I can, regardless of what their beliefs are. We are all still human, and I know I’m not perfect either, so why destroy when I can help build?

I don’t prescribe to the same views as you, but I can understand your sentiment. It’s hard to see all the crap and think that there is a god out there. However, I have seen the good things that faith can do for people and it helps me to stay positive. And you are right I think even without religion, there would be some reason for people to do bad, just as there would be reason for people to do good. All I can do is try to do good personally and help folks out when possible. I find volunteering for different things helps to put things on perspective and if more folks did so, we’d all be more compassionate towards our fellow humans.
