But that’s probably my attraction to utilitarian design talking.
My next pickup will probably be a T100 Xtra cab, early Tundra access cab SR5, or a Taco access cab — if my next pickup had to serve as a DD, anyway.

That’s a good Taco with a good rear overhang

I’ve never liked the swoop fenders. My forester had them too and I thought it looked cheesy
Where ya going fender line? is the wind super strong or something?

I like ‘em on the Forester, but it took me about a half a second to decide I hated them on the Taco when that bodystyle released.

Nice, basic truck.

Funny, I hated them on the forester but the Taco is much more subtle. It looks better on the short bed than the long.
The short bed has a reason to change shape, the long bed it feels like its just hanging out waiting for something to happen, then for no reason at all, decides its ready for a change.

Those tires/wheels look too small for the rest of the truck, but with a larger tire I would be all over it.

I love an honest work truck. A neighbor around the corner has a new white Chevy double cab short bed, in work truck trim with steel wheels and a front end that’s all black plastic. Personally I think it looks freaking great.
