Does anyone have one of these cheap stereos?

Kinja'd!!!

XO Vision XD 103. Weighs next to nothing, so I paid next to nothing at, where else, the Goodwill Outlet. It doesn’t have the wiring harness, and without it I really don’t know which connection does what. The wiring diagram on the unit doesn’t specifically show where each wire is connected in the plug, just which color does what.

I’m pretty sure that I have a plug that will fit, but I need to find out which color wires go where so I can power up this thing.

Thanks!

Aren’t the cables color coded? Should be something like this:

And no, I stopped buying cheap electronics because of ressens like these. I always had problems with them

I think it’s this harness. You could buy this for $17. Or you could just look at postings of this harness for sale and see if you get a good enough look what colors go where to just solder right to the plug you have.

Since I don’t have the harness, I don’t know which wire is in the top row on the left and so on. Do I assume power is the top row of connections and speakers on the bottom? Sounds kind of risky.

I don’t normally buy cheap electronics, but this was available for next to nothing (less than a dollar, I’d guess). This lack of documentation and non-standard information probably explains why it was so cheap. Similarly to how software used to ship with stacks of helpful documentation and now you’re lucky to get a PDF, this change comes as no surprise...

Aaaah, ok, I got that wrong, I thought there was no ISO harness. how do you want to connect to the pns then anyway? can you provide a picture of the connection on the radio?

From the pictures of the rear of the radio I found online, it should be something like this:

Normally people who buy these would be googling stuff about them. So I would be very surprised if nobody had shared a diagram for your issue.
