Or maybe loser is the the right word. Either way I now have a 6 inch decal on my car displaying my Pokémon Go team. Which by the way is dominating my town right now. At lest 7 of the 8 gyms in town are Red. Actually maybe all 8 I just haven’t been to that side of town in a while.
Also who do I talk to about getting an Oppo sticker made.

I think it was more of placement over quality. I had to cut it up a little around the keys and the only parts that started peeling were the parts on the palm rest and trackpad.

I still play Pokemon Go - and I have a friend who laughs even though I tell him it’s genuinely a good game now and worlds better than when everybody and their mothers were playing - but unfortunately 99.9% of the time, I’m playing just to hatch eggs and trying to catch em all because there’s simply no gyms around and I’m not going out of my way and spending an hour trying to knock down a Level 10 gym by myself just to lose it an hour later because I picked yellow team way back when and apparently nobody else did...
Granted, the gym experience isn’t super great so I’m not missing out on a whole ton (but maybe I’m just sour about my pick...). But as you can imagine I have zero team pride. But I have over 120 of the original Pokemon and I’m getting there!!

The Gym holding in my town is pretty even. It was mostly Mystic in the beginning than Instinct took over, lately it’s been Valor. I used to not worry too much about gyms, but when your team it doing well it really makes you want to get out and be a part of the action, which is the whole point.
Idk exactly how may originals I have, but I have about 170 totally in my dex, which isn’t as for a small town player.
I’m reeaaaally hoping the PvP battle update isn’t just a rumor but actually in the works. Gym battles are okay but it would be way more fun to find another player and challenge them head on. That’s the Pokémon trainer experience I wanted. I remember when he game first came out bumping into people, and being all excited with we were part of the same made up world, and wishing I could challenge them.

Also thanks about the Kidoking, the spiky purple monster has been my favorite since Red and Blue. If there was a Purple team on Go I would have picked it.

I wonder if they won’t just make a new game if they add PvP battles...
Personally I really hope they don’t, but consider people that aren’t us: oh Pokemon Go - that was a fad that died a long time ago, why would I play it now?
I still think it’s a wildly impressive free game - which is what baffled me about people complaining so hard about it.
Sure, I woulda liked PvP from the start and a lot of the things they added, but jeez, have we really gotten so spoiled that we can’t be ok with a good game, albeit very imperfect (though much better now), which you can play and excel at without dropping a dime??
My ideal game which I’d 110% pay money for (I dunno, $20-30? How much do the Pokemon DS games go for? $40?) would be a solid singleplayer-focused classic Pokemon/Pokemon Go hybrid. One in which you can battle friends, but like the originals (maybe the newer ones too), it’s just for fun and maybe a little experience. And trading too. Maybe have some multiplayer bonuses, but nothing crazy. But the majority of the game being like a traditional Pokemon game where you can run into virtual trainers and gyms and stores and such in the real world. It’d be a very interesting and no doubt difficult thing to do - perhaps the simplest thing would be to make it like normal Pokemon with the completely virtual world for the “story mode”, but then you flip on “AR” and can catch more wild Pokemon, hatch eggs, and do more training in the real world to add more spice. I imagine it’d be too complicated to autogenerate a story mode based on millions of potentially different locales. Maybe you can designate your actual home as a PokeCenter and it’d be like your virtual Pokemon Hub and you can be assured that wild Pokemon will at least be in your area (unlike Pokemon Go...)
Man I should stop while I’m ahead - I’m just making myself want something that’s probably never going to happen :(

Go has its fault that’s for sure. I do miss the more RPG oriented game boy games. I wish they had Suck with turn backs more strategic battles, as opposed to the taptaptaptap taaaaaaap taptaptap battles they we have.
What I’d really like to see is some way to strengthen you Pokémon through battling. In the old games with enough determination you could get any Pokémon to level 100. Now if a Pokémon tops out at say 2000cp it’s done, and probably useless. For example I love Nidoking in the old games. It wasn’t that strong but it had high defense and with TMs it could learn water, electric, fighting, and even fire type moves, making it a jack of all trade.
But with go my hard earned Nidoking has a CP of 1700 which isn’t competitive, and its move set isn’t that impressive so it’s not even favorited.
