Exactly. I think it’s totally appropriate to announce new blogs & sub-blogs across Gawkmodo. In theory, these new blogs will become the go-to place on Kinja for that particular subject, and help keep off-topic spam from diluting our favorite blogs.

Hey Cap,

I can explain this one. Our friends at Lifehacker, who are lovely people, asked us to share the announcement on their new parenting blog, which, awesome—might be something new for all the moms and dads who read our sites. I just wanted to help them out a bit.

Then, it ended up being the top post on Jalopnik for about an hour (something we work really hard to avoid) because a bunch of our stories needed extra editing time. It’s unfortunate, I hate it, but it happens. Usually I try to have Jalopnik stories on top of the other shares relatively quickly.

In any case, sorry you’re incensed, hope the other stuff makes up for it.

Hey I am just excited for a reply. That makes sense. No harm no foul. Just didn’t seem FP related and sometimes that happens a lot with GM.
