Memorial Day weekend sucks. I’m all about day-long endurance races, but two legs of the Triple Crown in one day, the Nürburgring 24 Hours and NASCAR’s longest race, which goes late into the evening? It’s time for y’all to rock-paper-scissors this out and kick

off that weekend. It’s too much of multiple good things, and I always feel dead by the end of it.

The winner of the #PlacesStefWouldRatherBe points, Ryan, apparently knew of out my one true weakness: seafood. Austin is landlocked and sad when it comes to good seafood. So, posting a big plate of plump raw oysters is peak #PlacesStefWouldRatherBe. Heck yes, get in my belly.

Seeing the oysters on half shell have me wanting a fresh dozen and in Ohio thats impossible. Guess I’ll have to wait until I’m out east in the summer. Until then I’ll have to bookmark this and look the picture each day.

Yes! Nothing beats fresh oysters and a cold IPA after driving around all day. If anyone’s near Mystic CT this place was worth stopping by the oysters were amazing.
