Kinja'd!!!

My driveway is in 3 sections & the far side is mine. The near side is for my wife with van, yah know closer to the front door to unload groceries & children. When her sister comes over for some reason she parks in my spot every damn time.

These are my inlaws that rented from us so I don’t expect much from them ever.

I guess I should be grateful I have a wide driveway that can fit visitors. Although there is about 3 street spaces for that.

Grr.

Kinja'd!!!

She got rear ended and instead of buying another car they kept that one and bought some parts to fix it. Insurance paid $2500 for car damages & $2500 for pain & suffering. Insurance Company got a good deal.

It is still a piece of shit. Exhaust leaks and is loud AF, No A/C.

Have you asked her to not park in your spot?

It is funny, I never hated the family of my partners.

I told my wife to tell her. I actually don’t say much to her or her husband. If I said it to her it would come out like “It’s going to cost you $750 to park there.”

(The rented from us thing... they skipped out on the last month so they could pay the first & last month at the next place.)

Then I don’t blame you for not wanting to talk to them. Your driveway looks deep enough for two cars. Just park her in next time.

Hate is a strong word. I don’t really think I hate much.

I get along with all of her family actually. See other comment about money.

What’s IN the garage? I wish I had a 3 car garage...

Too much. A lot of 1/4 finished projects and things I may use latter. Like 2 MK1 VW GTI Rabbits a jeep Cherokee that’s lifted and lockers and stuff. A broke 01 R1, and when I make space my other motorcycle that at my parents because I had to get my one Rabbit here because it was at a rental property that I sold and had to “get my shit out”...

last house had a 2 car garage and I wasn’t going to downgrade. Next time I move it’ll be an out building, shop, or pole barn.

Ok, I feel better. If you had said carboard boxes, and christmas decorations I would be asking wtf.

3 engine blocks to make into tables, 2 air compressors, 20 ton press, bunch of tools. The Christmas stuff my wife puts in the basement. Along with my 6 sets of tires, and a GMC tailgate to make into another table. Lots of projects.

Yeah, visitors -even family - should park in the street. I honestly thought that was a relatively well known thing. I totally get that there are exceptions to this but your particular case doesn’t seem to be among them from what I can surmise.

My parents always had large, wide driveways such as yours. No visitors ever parked in the driveway unless told to do so.
